Consultancy Rapleys has posted record revenue in its latest set of annual results.
The company turned over £16m in the year to April, a quarter up on the previous year’s £12.8m, and reported a pre-tax profit ratio of 32.5%.
The growth was led by the firm’s building consultancy team, which has delivered a 300% increase in turnover in the past three years and launched several new services.
The performance of the commercial, planning and residential divisions was lifted by the acquisition of three businesses over the past 12 months, including planning consultancy CSJ in Bristol, residential consultancy s106 Affordable Housing in Southampton and Aston Rose in London.
