Raymond Mould, one of the property industry’s leading figures, passed away on 13 September, aged 74.

Mould started his career at developer Arlington, which he founded in 1976 and sold to British Aerospace in 1989.

He then established Pillar in 1991, which he ran until 2005 before selling to British Land.

Mould next venture was London & Stamford, which merged with retail landlord Metric Property Investments in 2012, after which he left and it became LondonMetric.

In 2013 he stepped down from property to focus on his other passion, horse racing. Mould’s success as a race horse owner bought him victories in the Grand National and Gold Cup.

He is survived by his widow Caroline.
