Royal Bank of Scotland Group Plc is looking to sell private bank Coutts International, with bids possible as early as this week, a person with knowledge of the matter said.
Initial offers are due at the end of the week, with around a dozen potential bidders having signed privacy agreements, the person said. The bank could be worth between $600 million and $900 million, the person said. A spokesman for RBS declined to comment.
