Petroleum giant BP has rehired Juliet Filose to head the company’s real estate operations in Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
Filose rejoins BP from Royal Bank of Scotland, where she was head of global real estate until leaving last October.
Filose previously worked at BP from 1989, supporting the group’s EMEA real estate division, before leaving for RBS in 2008. She will begin her newly created role at BP next week.
A BP spokesman said: “Juliet will be head of group real estate EMEA region, a new role which we have decided we need to manage our ongoing real estate needs across the EMEA region.”
In January, the company instructed DTZ to carry out a review of its Canary Wharf offices. It occupies about 240,000 sq ft at 20 Canada Square, E14, and is assessing its real estate strategy ahead of a 2013 lease break.
