Theodora Beckett, head of London at RealWorth, has been appointed as the new chair of the ULI UK Young Leaders Group, which represents members aged 35 and under.

She succeeds Imogen Thompson, who recently joined ULI UK as the national council’s executive director.
Beckett said: “As a group, we are committed to fostering innovative, interdisciplinary thought that builds knowledge, expands networks and champions diversity and inclusion within the built environment. I plan to build on Imogen’s excellent work in providing a platform that nurtures inspiring ideas and builds genuine connections among young professionals.”
Beckett’s vision for the ULI UK Young Leaders Group is for it to be a unique forum where tomorrow’s industry leaders can engage with the leaders of today, connecting local expertise with global knowledge across the entire spectrum of real estate disciplines.
Mark Collins, chair of ULI’s UK national council and executive director and chairman of residential at CBRE, said: “Theodora’s energy, enthusiasm and commitment to innovation, connectivity and diversity puts her in great stead to be a fantastic trailblazer and ambassador for young leaders. This group is extremely important to ULI in its focus on nurturing our next generation of entrepreneurial talent, providing a valuable platform to connect, discuss and network, and encouraging innovative thinking in response to some of our industry’s biggest challenges.”
At RealWorth, which enables organisations to identify, measure, optimise and communicate the social value of buildings, places and programmes, Beckett leads on projects across London and the South East. She advises on community wealth building and placemaking strategy, as well as the optimising, delivering and measuring of social impact.
