Ukip’s only MP, Mark Reckless, has been accused of ‘flip-flopping’ on a controversial housing development in his Rochester constituency.
The former Conservative MP for Rochester and Strood previously supported the plans for 5000 homes at Lodge Hill in Chatterden near Rochester, But he made opposition to the plan a central part of his by-election campaign after he defected to Ukip.
