Redevco adds to research team with two new hires

Investment manager Redevco has bolstered its research and strategy team with two new hires, including a former research manager from Landsec.

The company has appointed Brigit Gerritse (pictured) as Amsterdam-based head of research and strategy, reporting to chief strategy and innovation officer Marrit Laning.

Gerritse joins from ULI Benelux where she was executive director, having previously run the Dutch Council of Shopping Centers.

She is joined by Arafat Soliman, newly appointed London-based research and strategy manager. Soliman was previously research manager at Landsec.

Laning said: “We are committed to having a positive impact on our urban environment and firmly believe that continuous research innovation is vital to advancing our sustainability agenda. We must understand what cities need in the future to be able to make them liveable and sustainable.

“The new members of our R&S team will provide strategic guidance and expand Redevco’s in-house research capabilities. This will also help deepen our knowledge of the latest technologies as part of our effort to lead the transformation to net zero carbon buildings and a circular economy.”
