Redevco hires Quispel as first head of innovation

Redevco has hired Elsbeth Quispel as its first head of innovation.

Quispel will drive the real estate investment manager’s proptech strategy and broader innovation journey.

Before joining Redevco, Quispel was head of real estate strategy and innovation at Cushman & Wakefield for five years. Prior to that she was head of sustainability and managing director for ESG and real estate at GRESB.

Quispel will report to recently appointed Redevco board member Marrit Laning, who is responsible for strategy and innovation.

Laning said: “We are delighted to welcome Elsbeth on board. With her massive experience, she will be able to build our capabilities to use new technologies and innovative concepts, and support Redevco with its mission to help cities become more sustainable and liveable places.”

Quispel said: “The timing to start this newly created role in Redevco could not be better. Cities are required to become more digital and more sustainable and Redevco wants to play a major part in this transition. As I am passionate about both innovation and sustainability, I am looking forward to engaging with the various teams in Redevco to see how we can drive change and make a positive impact in the locations where the company is invested.”
