Redevco UK managing director Andrew Vaughan has been promoted to the board of the Amsterdam-based company.
Vaughan, who has worked for Redevco UK for seven years, will take up the position of chief operating officer in May.
He will be the first non-Dutch board member for Redevco. Other members include chief executive Jaap Blokhuis, chief financial officer Frank de Moes and Jaap Gillis, who is also chief operating officer.
“I have been in the UK for nearly seven years, and this is the right time for me to do something else,” said Vaughan. “It feels like a good time to move and, by doing this, I can stay with Redevco.”
During his time at Redevco UK, Vaughan has relet 5m sq ft of retail space following the closure of C&A in 2000, and restructured the company’s portfolio.
He has also helped increase the portfolio by 50%, buying and selling more than £650m
of property.
