Plans for an 800,000 sq ft redevelopment next to Birmingham’s Snow Hill station have been approved by Birmingham city council. The site is one of seven sold by Hammerson to Ballymore Properties following Hammerson’s acquisition of Railtrack Developments last year. The £200m development was designed by Sidell Gibson. It will include 720,000 sq ft of offices, along with 200 flats and 50,000 sq ft of shops and a public plaza with bars and restaurants.
