Redical signs new tenant at Liberty Romford

Retro clothing retailer 80s Casual Classics has secured space for its first London flagship store at Redical’s Liberty shopping centre in Romford.

The brand has signed for a 2,340 sq ft store on a five-year lease term.

The store will be brand’s fifth location opening this summer. Other locations include Barnsley, Glasgow, Derby and Norwich.

Liberty shopping centre covers more than 432,000 sq ft and has around 100 occupiers.

The announcement of 80s Casual Classics’ signing follows the news of four high street brands – Pandora, The Perfume Shop, Holland & Barrett, and EE – renewing their leases.

Neil Primett, founder and managing director at 80s Casual Classics, said: “We have had huge success in the North, and a large portion of our online sales comes from the South, especially in the Essex and London region, due to the prominence of the subculture we sit within.”

Cushman & Wakefield and Green & Partners acted for The Liberty Romford, whilst Bennett Phillips represented 80s Casual Classics.
