Redrow gets nod for £94m Farnborough resi scheme

Redrow is set to start work on the first phase of new homes on Shoe Lane in Farnborough, Hampshire, after the £94.2m project was approved by Rushmoor Borough Council.

The construction on a 24-acre site, to be known as Vale Croft Woods, will kick off in March 2023 with 20 homes for private sale, ranging in size from three- to five-bedrooms, alongside 53 affordable homes. Once complete, the remaining homes will be brought forward, with the entire scheme comprising 176 homes.

In addition, Redrow plans to provide green open space, including a woodland area adjacent to the homes.

Mark Vanson, sales director at Redrow Southern Counties, said: “With plenty of green space surrounding the site, lots of local amenities and great schools nearby, as well as the location enabling easy access into London, we anticipate the homes at Vale Croft Woods will be incredibly popular among prospective buyers and particularly families.”
