Reed Elsevier has confirmed the assignment of its lease on Michelin House, 81 Fulham Road, London SW3, to Monitor Company Europe.
A rent of about £1.7m pa is understood to have been agreed with a 12-month rent free period and reviews in 2002 and 2007. The lease is due to expire in 2012.
Monitor is relocating to the 4,831 sq m (52,000 sq ft) property from 1/2 Grosvenor Place, London SW1. Management consultancy Monitor plans to occupy up to 3,251 sq m (35,000 sq ft) of the property and sublet the rest.
St Quintin acted for Reed Elsevier while Knight Frank advised Monitor.
