Regal deal for RREEF with £90m City buy

The City HQ of Cushman & Wakefield and former City base of Drivers Jonas Deloitte is being sold for £90m.

RREEF, the property fund management arm of Deutsche Bank, has agreed to buy the 132,000 sq ft Capital House on King William Street , EC3, from German fund manager Commerz Grundbesitz. The sale price reflects a 5.9% yield.

Elsewhere in the City, a shortlist of bidders is being lined up for Goldman Sachs’ European HQ at River Court on Fleet Street, EC4.

The Libyan Investment Authority, Tishman Speyer and Rockspring, on behalf of the National Pension Service of Korea, are all battling for the 425,000 sq ft building.

The private Irish owners of the property put it up for sale in June for £300m – a 5.25% initial yield. It is being sold with an existing finance package that matures in 2016.

Savills acts for Commerz; Müller International is advising RREEF; Gresham Down is the selling agent on River Court.
