Regal London and global alternative asset manager Cheyne Capital Management have acquired Great North Leisure Park, N12, from Landsec.
The retail park is an 11.2-acre site off High Road, North Finchley, in the London Borough of Barnet. It has been earmarked by Barnet Council as a strategic site for residential-led redevelopment.
Great North Leisure Park will house the third Regal London Real Estate Academy. The first Academy was launched in Watford in 2022, with the second in Brent earlier this year.
The Regal London Real Estate Academies are delivered in partnership with skills charity Building Heroes. Each academy provides construction qualifications and routes to employment for 70 military veterans and their families.
Great North Leisure Park gives Regal London a presence in a sixth area, alongside significant sites in Brent, Camden, Hackney, the City of London and Watford.
Regal London chief executive Jonathan Seal said: “The acquisition of Great North Leisure Park is another step in the evolution of our strategy.”
