Regal London is planning to redevelop a riverside site in London’s Tower Hamlets that has been empty for more than two decades.
The company wants to develop Orchard Wharf, E14, as a mixed-use scheme that includes a last-mile logistics hub, up to 1,365 student beds, affordable homes, and flexible commercial space.
The site is a designated safeguarded wharf and has been vacant since 1993.
Regal London is working with architects Howells on masterplanning, SpaceHub on landscaping, and Aukett Swanke on wharf architecture. Montagu Evans is working on planning and Beckett Rankine on marine engineering.
A planning application is expected in the spring.
