Regalian Properties has appointed David Lindop of Speciality Shops as its new finance director and company secretary. The company has also recruited Sir Idris Pearce, former managing director of Richard Ellis, as non-executive director.
The appointments have been made as the company’s central London development programme gathers increasing momentum.
The company’s priority projects include the first phase of Point West, the residential scheme in South Kensington, which Regalian acquired for £60m in a joint venture with three Singaporean companies.
Sir Idris Pearce will remain a consultant with Richard Ellis. He is also deputy chairman of English Partnerships, a non-executive director of Swan Hill, Millennium and Copthorne Hotels, Innisfree and Dusco UK, and a member of the Board of the London Docklands Development Corporation.
