Regent Inns is linking up with Golden Rose Communications, the owner of Jazz FM radio, to launch a new chain of jazz cafes.
The first Cafe Jazbar is due to open next month at Albert Dock, Liverpool, Merseyside. Although there is no figure on how many outlets will open, Regent Inns is known to have identified several sites in London and the North West.
The outlets will target the top end of the eating-out market. Live jazz booked by Jazz FM will accompany diners.
