Serviced offices operator Regus has acquired Satellite/Skyport Conference Centers in a deal worth almost 3.6m (NLG8m). The acquisition increases the number of Regus’s Dutch outlets from 24 to 27, while in Belgium the number rises from nine to 10. The new acquisitions will all function under the Regus name.
Regus concentrates its operations in and around the large and medium-sized cities. Satellite/Skyport centres are mainly located at or close to regional or international airports. Satellite has business centres at Schipol and Eindhoven airports in the Netherlands, while Skyport Corporate Meeting Centres has business locations at Schipol and Zaventem.
General manager of Regus Benelux Sipke Feenstra said: “Although this is a takeover in commercial terms, we prefer to think of this as a co-operative venture that will bring dividends to the companies concerned.”
