Angelo Gordon and Hondo Enterprises have signed the first office tenants at the Relay Building, E1.
General Assembly and Smartfocus have taken 10-year leases on the 15,000 sq ft first and second floors. Quoting rents are £55 per sq ft.
Angelo Gordon bought the 21-storey tower, which includes 217 flats, from Redrow in 2014 and repositioned the 90,000 sq ft office element to attract tech, media and creative tenants, hosting installations from the Lazarides Gallery, including an old Tube train (pictured).
Allsop and GM Real Estate are letting agents; Colliers International acted for General Assembly; Lambert Smith Hampton advised Smartfocus.
