The West Pier Trust is expected to meet Brighton and Hove City Council soon to discuss plans to replace the destroyed West Pier on the city’s coast.
The trust will rely almost completely on private money.
The Daily Telegraph says there will have to be a shore-based development to accompany the scheme.
