A new £11m veterinary innovation centre in the Highlands has been given approval.
The development on the Inverness Campus of Scotland’s Rural College is expected to boost life sciences activity in the region, with work starting on site within weeks.
The project has received £6m from the European Regional Development Fund Scotland programme and a £4.2m loan from the Scottish Funding Council. The land being built on is owned by Highlands and Islands Enterprise, the publicly owned economic development agency.
