Reserved takes 20,000 sq ft flagship at GPE’s Oxford Street scheme

Fashion retailer Reserved has leased a new London flagship at GPE’s 70/88 Oxford Street development, W1.

Reserved will occupy 19,645 sq ft on the ground and first floors. The shop is set to open in 2023.

This will be Reserved’s second anchor store in London following its UK debut on Oxford Street West in 2017.

Reserved will join Boom: Battle Bar, which will occupy 15,600 sq ft and is due to open its escape room concept before Christmas. It will also feature adventure bar activities including axe throwing.

GPE’s scheme has just one remaining ground-floor retail unit of 2,300 sq ft available, which has 8m double-height frontage and a prime location opposite the entrance to the new Elizabeth Line station.

Senior portfolio manager Sarah Goldman said: “Since its UK launch, Reserved has created quite the buzz across the market and complements our wider West End offering with experiential adventure bar Boom: Battle Bar. Together both brands will help create a day-to-night destination on the doorstep of the Elizabeth Line station at Tottenham Court Road.”
