ReSI names banking exec as new finance director

The fund manager behind property investor Residential Secure Income has hired a former banking executive as its new finance director.

James Sly will head the finance function at ReSI Capital Management, including overseeing Residential Secure Income’s equity and debt programme. He will report to group chief executive Alex Pilato.

Sly was previously finance manager at United Trust Bank. Earlier in his career he worked at Pepkor Europe, a pan-European retailer. He qualified as a chartered accountant and started his career with PwC.

Residential Secure Income invests in affordable shared ownership, retirement and local authority housing.
