Colliers/Touchstone expand
Colliers CRE and Touchstone Asset Management have purchased Criterion Asset Management, which manages 600 properties, to expand their residential property management joint venture. Criterion was the residential management division of the Wellingtons pub chain and was sold off by Motcombe Estates.
Grainger grabs £16m portfolio
Grainger Trust has snapped up a £16.1m residential portfolio from a private client of Aston Rose. Grainger swapped two central London offices worth £14m, a business centre in Twickenham, a retail warehouse in Accrington and £2.1m in cash for the 195 flats.
Ascott pulls out of Atrium
Singapore-based serviced apartment company the Ascott Group has been replaced by US firm BridgeStreet to run Crown Dilmun’s 116-unit Atrium complex in Manchester for the next 15 years. The move is fuelling speculation that Ascott is scaling back its UK operation.
