London-based investment company Resolution Property has acquired the German shopping centre Carre Göttingen.
The firm is looking to modernise the mall together with Darmstadt-based property company ERWE Real Estate.
The retail property, based in Göttingen, was originally built in 1974 as a department store and converted into a shopping centre in 1987. It was refurbished in 2002 and comprises 9,600 m2 over four floors.
The anchor tenant is consumer electronics provider Saturn and convenience store Tegut as well as chemist retailer dm.
Refurbishment work is expected to be completed in 2014.
