Yorkshire-based Oakgate Group, advised by Hill Woolhouse, has sold Swinegate Court East and West in York to Royal London Asset Management for £11.1m, a 6.5% yield. The 1990s-built scheme of 16 shops, a bar and 30,000 sq ft of offices counts Mulberry and CGU Insurance among its tenants. Royal London, advised by King Sturge, bought it on behalf of Royal London Mutual Insurance Society and Royal London Exempt Property Unit Trust.

A giant model of central London — showing how development, regeneration and new infrastructure are changing the capital — will go on public display this summer. The New London Architecture exhibition will be overseen by an advisory group that includes architect Terry Farrell, DP9 partner Malcolm Kerr and City Planning Officer Peter Rees. It will be hosted by property consultancy Pipers.
