The Restaurant Group has appointed Graham Clemett as a non-executive director and chairman of the audit committee from 1 June.
Clemett will join the company from Workspace Group where he is currently chief financial officer.
He has previously held finance positions at Royal Bank of Scotland and Reuters and trained with KPMG.
Chairman Debbie Hewitt said: “I am pleased to welcome Graham to the company. As well as his strong technical credentials and his broad strategic insight, he brings a wealth of experience as a listed company director. I am sure that he will add considerable value to our board and we look forward to working with him.”
The Restaurant Group operates more than 500 restaurants and pub restaurants throughout the UK.
Its principal trading brands are Frankie & Benny’s, Chiquito and Coast to Coast.
