Retailers flood into Cardiff’s St David’s

  Fourteen new retailers have signed to take stores at Land Securities’ and Capital Shopping Centres’ St David’s shopping centre in Cardiff.   Fashion store Lambretta, audio store Bose, Formula One store Wheels of Sport and stationer Paperchase will open their first shops in Wales.    Also making its debut their in the country are jeweller Thomas Sabo, gadget store Menkind and sandwich chain Prêt a Manger.    Fashion retailer Jane Norman, Game, Shoe Zone, Lakeland, Faith, and Italian restaurant Bellini’s have also agreed to take stores.   Joanne Skilton, of Capital Shopping Centres, said “St David’s will offer shoppers even more choice when we open on 22 October.     “We will be opening more shops in the run up to Christmas and the quality of the retail offer will reinforce Cardiff as a key location within the UK retail hierarchy.”   samantha.mcclary@rbi.co.uk
