A retirement home specialist is scouring the South East for a total of 46,450m2 (500,000 sq ft) for sheltered housing.
SweetTree Retirement Communities is looking for sites of more than 0.4ha (1 acre) in which to develop schemes of 70 flats to sell to pensioners.
SweetTree is in due diligence over one site of 4,645m2 (50,000 sq ft) and is negotiating on another of 6,503m2 (70,000 sq ft).
The firm aims to have up t0 five sites under construction by October 2002. Anthony Green & Spencer is sole retained agent.
