Plans for a retirement site of 400 houses in East Lincolnshire are being finalised by Keystone Developments.
A scheme of 400 properties, the bulk of which will be retirement homes, a playground, and a 13-acre community park across a 44-acre site on Humberston Avenue, Grimsby, form an outline planning application that Keystone is submitting to North East Lincolnshire council.
Keystone, part of the Longhurst Group, has drawn up the proposals along with development partner is Larkfleet. Local residents have been consulted, and the plans are almost ready to be submitted.
Nick Worboys, assistant director of development for Longhurst, said: “There is a clear need for retirement homes in North East Lincolnshire.”
The expected cost and size in sq ft of the development have not yet been finalised, said Keystone.
