A review of the Garden Bridge project recommends it should be cancelled, rather than risk further costs.
It would be better for the taxpayer to accept the financial loss of cancelling the project than risk additional costs to the public purse, the report by MP Margaret Hodge said.
London mayor Sadiq Khan commissioned Hodge to prepare the report on the project. He said he would take time to consider the report and its implications.
