Revised plans for Trump golf course rejected

Planners have rejected revised plans for US president-elect Donald Trump’s Aberdeenshire golf course, saying instead he must go back to the original plan that included a major hotel, timeshare and sports complex.

They also recommended that Trump be required to build hundreds of affordable homes, a school and other community facilities, and a roundabout, as previously promised.

Trump International Golf Links said the decision would not impact future plans to develop the site.
