Revolution and Nightcap explore takeover

Revolution Bars Group is in early stage discussions about selling the company to bar operator Nightcap. Revolution launched a formal sale process last month, and said that although Nightcap was “not participating” in that process, the two companies have held “an exploratory meeting” over possible deals including an offer for Revolution. The company issued a stock market statement after Sky reported that bar groups Nightcap and Rekom were interested in buying all or part of Revolution.  Revolution said it was making its announcement without Nightcap’s consent. The statement means Nightcap now has until 5pm on 30 May to make an offer.
