Revolution Bars is looking to use some of the £34m of equity it recently raised to open eight new sites and refurbish more than half of its estate over the next two years.
The growth plans come despite reporting a massive decline in revenue in the year ended 3 July from £110m to £39m. Despite the decline in income, the firm, which runs 67 bars nationwide, said its premises were busier than ever, with sales up by 14% on 2019 levels.
The firm is eyeing empty units on high streets for its expansion, where it believes it can have conversations with landlords on “favourable rents”.
