Riba house of year moves with the seasons

Murphy House was built on a Unesco world heritage site in the centre of Edinburgh. Its four storeys include three bedrooms and three shower rooms, a subterranean library and a roof terrace.

Riba president Jane Duncan described the building as part jigsaw puzzle and part Wallace and Gromit with its moving pieces and disappearing walls.
