Richard Meier, a partner at Argent, is to leave the company after 15 years.
Meier, who has been a partner at the firm for five years, said he is leaving Argent to “pursue new adventures”, including travelling around Europe with his wife and two daughters.
He was closely involved with delivering the 8m sq ft regeneration of King’s Cross and more recently worked on Argent Related’s 180-acre Brent Cross South town centre development.
Over the past four years, Meier has been the chairman of the Urban Land Institute UK Residential Council, overseeing its second Build to Rent: a Best Practice Guide and its UK-wide Later Living conference.
David Partridge, managing partner at Argent, said: “Richard has driven some of Argent’s key placemaking initiatives.
“His passion, energy and the sense of possibility he brings to our work will be missed. We wish him well for the future.”
