Ringley Group appoints new chief executive

Avison Young managing director and CBRE board member Richard Williams has joined Ringley Group as chief executive.

Its current chief executive and founder, Mary-Anne Bowring, will become group managing director.

Earlier this year, Ringley launched a new branded asset management and operations platform, focused on the living sectors, with a target to operate more than 10,000 homes.

In October, Wellcome Trust appointed Ringley as asset management and operational partner on the South Kensington Estate, which the charitable foundation purchased in 1995.

Bowring said: “We have always believed in investing in technology to create innovative solutions to property management. This has led us to work with many clients, from significant blue-chip companies to smaller companies requiring strategic and professional advice. Richard brings 30 years of experience across all real estate asset classes, which will enhance our service to our clients.”

Williams added: “Technology and innovation has been a key to the growth of Ringley Group. Many of my existing commercial clients are investing in various residential investments, including student, later living, and hotels, and certainly need agile property and asset managers supported by great technology and people, which has been missing in the mixed-use and commercial arena.”
