ALIGN=”JUSTIFY”>Claires Accessories is taking 7,896 sq m (85,000 sq ft) at Richardsons ‘ 37,160 sq m (400,000 sq ft) speculatively-built Bromford Gate in Birmingham Heartlands.
ALIGN=”JUSTIFY”>The fashion accessory retailer has signed a 25-year lease for a purpose-built distribution centre and hq complex on the industrial estate. It is aiming to open 400 stores in the UK by the end of 2001, including one at Richardson Developments Star City leisure complex nearby.
ALIGN=”JUSTIFY”>Aerospace engineering company Robson Precision recently signed up as Bromford Gates first occupier and took 5,945 sq m (64,000 sq ft) for a prestigious new production facility.
Lee Richardson of Richardson Developments said: “We are also in discussions with a number of other companies and anticipate making further lettings in the near future.”
