Richardsons sell Nickel 28 for £28m

The Richardson family and Thorngrove Land & Property have sold a 268,000 sq ft warehouse in Derbyshire for £28m.

The speculatively built warehouse Nickel 28, on the South Normanton Industrial Estate, has been sold to Roebuck Asset Management.

Retail logistics company iForce, a subsidiary of Eddie Stobart, has taken the development on a 15-year lease.

The Midlands-based Richardsons have been active in the commercial property market for more than 50 years and have developed more than 7m sq ft of property. Current projects include the £150m regeneration at Milburngate in Durham and further speculative industrial developments in Redditch and Kettering.
