The Richardson brothers have won outline planning consent for a £30m leisure park on the former Nechells power station in the Birmingham Heartlands.
Birmingham City Council granted consent with no objections on Thursday night (18/07/96). A council spokeswoman confirmed that a decision on detailed consent is likely within a fortnight.
The 10.52 (26 acre) scheme comprises a 30-screen multiplex cinema, a ten-pin bowling alley, an ice rink, casino, bingo hall, nightclub, restaurants and 2,750 parking spaces.
