Rickert bonus risks DTZ shareholders revolt

DTZ has risked a pay revolt among shareholders after awarding Bob Rickert £1.85m in guaranteed bonuses over two years. Rickert was recruited as chief operating officer 17 months ago but took on the further job of finance director in May last year.

The group said in its annual report it recognised the award would not be normally considered best UK corporate governance practice but the circumstances were exceptional. Pirc said it did not support the use of guaranteed bonuses.
