RICS has formed a new Olympics Commission to support the professions involved in the Olympics and other major sporting events worldwide.
The Commission’s objectives include acting as the leading source of information and comment on construction and property aspects of the Olympics.
The Commission hopes that profiling RICS members’ roles in delivering the games will inspire entrants to the surveying profession.
RICS London Region chairman Richard Taylor will chair the commission which includes Hines UK executive chairman, Philip Lewis, who is also Chairman of Sport England for London.
