The bounce-back in house prices experienced in recent months may be stabilising as more owners put their properties on the market, the latest survey from the RICS suggests.
The seasonally adjusted net balance of surveyors reporting an increase in prices rather than a fall was 30%, a fall of 5% in November.
Thirteen per cent more surveyors expected prices to climb rather than fall overall in England and Wales – down from a balance of 27 in November and 30 in October.
Seventeen per cent more surveyors reported new instructions to sell were rising, the same as in November, and up 2% on October.
