Rival hits Albany with winding-up order

Liverpool developer Albany Assets has been hit by a winding-up order from rival David McLean.

McLean claims it is owed money following a series of disputes dating back to 2005.

Previously, Albany was awarded £2.3m from DM contractors over delays at an Albany scheme in Liverpool.

Albany chief executive Chris Nisbet said the court action is without merit. The case will be heard on 2 April.
