The Roadchef motorway service chain is on the auction block with aprice tag of about £150m.
Roadchef is the third largest operator in the sector with a marketshare of 17%. Its 12 sites are widely distributed around the UK, withbudget hotels on seven sites. The company was bought out by managementin 1983.
