Hotel operator Rocco Forte warns that many wealthy non-doms based in London are preparing to leave the capital should Ed Miliband become the next prime minister.
The Labour party has promised to end the non-dom tax status if it wins the election, to be held next week.
Forte also noted keenness among Middle Eastern investors to put their money into real estate, such as hotels. JLL expects sales of hotels in Europe, the Middle East and Africa to reach $25bn this year, up from $21.5bn last.
