Rockspring gains AFM status

Rockspring Property Investment Managers has become AMF regulated in France and been granted approval to become an OPCI manager.

Rockspring Property Investment Managers France SAS now replaces the company’s previous platform in France. The new entity will be chaired by Jo De Clercq, partner at Rockspring.

De Clercq said: “We continue to actively invest in France and, as an AMF regulated entity, we are able to do this more efficiently, benefiting from the transparency of OPCI structures. The approval allows us to offer an enhanced investment platform to investors from both France and the rest of the world and demonstrates our growing presence in the market.”

Rockspring recently completed two acquisitions in the Paris region. The company acquired 5-7-9 Rue Jacques Bingen, a prime 6,200 m2 Paris office, in a joint venture with Générale Continentale Investissements, and Paris Oise Logistics Park, comprising 142,313 m2.

Rockspring France manages a growing portfolio of assets totalling in excess of €600m.
