Rockspring Property Investment Managers and its development partner Charterfield Asset Management have signed two lettings totalling 20,422 sq ft at Monument Place , EC3.
Ecclesiastical Insurance Office, which insures buildings belonging to the Church of England, has taken the sixth and seventh floors, which comprise 13,808 sq ft, while US law firm Cahill Gordon & Reindel has signed for 6,614 sq ft on the ninth floor.
Rockspring bought Monument Place, formerly Centurion House, in December 2010 on behalf of the Rockspring Value Fund 1, and began construction in April 2012. The building comprises 75,000 sq ft of grade A office space and 7,600 sq ft of retail space. Four out of nine office floors are now let, with further leasing activity expected in September.
Rockspring and Charterfield were advised by Knight Frank and Newton Perkins on the lettings.
