The Manchester arm of developer Rok has submitted a planning application for an industrial scheme at Denton in Greater Manchester.
The company has bought a 2.3-acre development site from United Utilities and wants to build industrial units of between 3,000 and 35,000 sq ft.
The site is part of the established Parkway commercial area close to the interchange between the M67 and M60 motorways.
Jonathan Conway of Rok’s Manchester office said: “This is a fantastic development opportunity on what is a superb site, serviced by first class infrastructure links.
“We have had considerable interest already, given the limited availability in the area.”
Units are expected to be available in autumn 2006.
Agents on the scheme are NAI Fuller Pelser and PD O’Herlihy.
Rok, which was established in the South West, is continuing to expand its operations in the North following the opening of a Manchester office last year.
It recently received planning approval for a mixed-use scheme in York Place, Leeds, including 24 apartments, 19,100 sq ft of offices and the refurbishment of two period office buildings totalling 7,500 sq ft.
The firm has offices in Manchester, Bristol, Exeter, Crawley and Southampton.
